20th Anniversary
In February 2026, DDO turned 20 years old. To celebrate, Update 78: Natural 20 was released with various events and a new archetype.
The 20th Anniversary event was originally to end on 31 March 2026, but was extended to 7 April 2026.
New public area[edit]
A new public area was introduced, where most of the festivities are held: The Anniversary Celebration. Speak to Fred the Anniversary Host in various areas to access it.

Anniversary giveaway[edit]

- Arcane Trickster
- Talk to the Giver of Gifts, against the West wall of the central tower.
- 20th Anniversary Commemorative Cloak
- Talk to Weaver the Warforged, against the East wall of the central tower.
- Dungeons & Dragons Online 20th Anniversary Token
- Tokens are thrown into each character's inventory upon login, take it to Miina d'Kundarak, against the North wall of the central tower.

Items received from this exchange cannot be consumed for Sentient XP or turned into Essence augments in the Soulforge, due to their unique enchantment Gift
Gift: This item was given out as a gift, and grants 0 Sentient XP if fed to a Sentient item or Artifact. It may also be ineligible for certain recipes involving this item.. (Epic Crafting or the Fountain of Necrotic Might can remove the Gift enchantment.)
Bug: Do not claim the Exclusive item Void, the Endless Cold using this token if you already have a copy in your inventory! You will not recieve another copy of the item and your token will be lost.
Bug: It has been reported that the Dull Dagger cannot be upgraded correctly if claimed via this token.
Events[edit]
- Sterling's Remnant Rush - year-long event, available until March 2nd, 2027.
- Spend Mysterious Remnants to gamble for prizes.
- Time Flies - new quest, available until April 7th, 2026.
- Collect Timeline Fragments and turn them in to Timeline Fragment Exchange, to claim Time-Twisted items.
- Anniversary Party (20th) - quest-like challenge, available until April 7th, 2026.
- Updated with new rewards: Party Favor Turn In
Bonuses[edit]
- Djinn Discovery Boost - +10% Discovery Bonus to the chances of finding Named Loot from chests. 6 hours duration, timer pauses out of quests, persists through the end of the Anniversary event. Talk to Anniversary Djinn in the Hall of Heroes (or Anniversary Celebration city zone). You can get the buff as many time as you want while the event is active.
- Free Questing Coupon - use the code 📋 NATURAL20 for many older adventure packs, through April 7th, 2026.
- DDO Points - Double Bonus Point sale
- From February 25th through March 4th
- From March 5th through 12th (continued)
- Server bonuses
- +20% Heroic and Epic XP, +20% Guild Renown, +10% VIP XP (on top of existing 10%) (From February 25th through March 4th)
- Double Mysterious Remnants: twice the chance for Remnants to appear when defeating Champions, from March 6th through April 7th, 2026.
- Strength in Numbers: +10% XP for every member in your non-raid party (March 5th through 8th)
- VIP Gold Daily Dice Rolls: free Gold Daily Dice rolls for VIPs from March 6th through April 7th, 2026.
