Reaper bonus

An item with Mythic and Reaper enchantments

Named chest loot from quests run on Reaper difficulty has a chance to gain an additional enchantment called a reaper bonus. All players, regardless of reaper experience, can talk to Raven Queen Augur and crunch down reaper bonuses on specific items in the Reaper Forge into a currency known as Fragment of Reaper Power, more commonly known as "Reaper Fragments".

The following bonuses can appear on any Named item, including Wands. These bonuses cannot be crafted using the Reaper Forge, and must be found naturally:

Additionally, there are a list of bonuses which are slot-specific. These may be imprinted onto an item in the matching slot without an existing Reaper Bonus for 75 Reaper Fragments at the Reaper Forge.

  • Reaper Goggles Enchantment: +1 Reaper Bonus to attack and +1 to Spell Penetration
  • Reaper Helmet Enchantment: +2 Reaper Bonus to all Ability Scores
  • Reaper Necklace Enchantment: +2 Reaper Bonus to melee/ranged/spell power and +2 PRR/MRR
  • Reaper Cloak Enchantment: +1 Reaper Bonus to Dodge and Dodge Cap
  • Reaper Belt Enchantment: +10 Reaper Bonus to hit points, and +3 PRR
  • Reaper Gloves Enchantment: +1 Reaper Bonus to all skills and +3 PRR
  • Reaper Boots Enchantment: +5 Reaper Bonus to PRR/MRR
  • Reaper Bracers Enchantment: +1 Reaper Bonus to saves and +3 MRR
  • Reaper Armor Enchantment: +5% Reaper Bonus to AC and +3 PRR
  • Reaper Shield Enchantment: +25% Reaper Bonus to Fortification and +3 PRR

Rings uniquely have four different slot-specific Reaper bonuses to choose between. Note that these are all simply referred to as "Reaper Ring Boost" ingame. As with other slot-specific Reaper Bonuses, these may be added to a compatible item for 75 Reaper Fragments.

  • Reaper Ring Boost (1): +1 Reaper Bonus to Spell, Tactical, and Assassinate DCs
  • Reaper Ring Boost (2): +10 Reaper Bonus to Universal Spell Power
  • Reaper Ring Boost (3): +5 Reaper Bonus to Melee / Ranged Power
  • Reaper Ring Boost (4): +3% Reaper Bonus to Spell Cost Reduction, +3 MRR

With the exception of the helmet effect, slot specific bonuses were added in Update 52.

All reaper bonuses fully stack with one another and function regardless of difficulty. Update 53.1 corrected stacking of rings and other new Reaper enchantments. An item can have both a reaper bonus and a mythic bonus, although this is very rare unless the bonuses were added manually (by either the Reaper Forge or Slave Lords Crafting/Schism Shard Crafting.)

Warning: Some upgradeable items might lose their reaper bonus when upgraded, for example via Epic Crafting or Essence Crafting.

Warning: Items that can fit into multiple slots (Such as Five Rings from Slave Lords) behave strangely when a Reaper Bonus is applied to them, and may waste Reaper Fragments if modified, without gaining an effect.

Occurrence rate[edit]

Reaper bonus occurs on about 5% of eligible items in reaper mode, with a very small chance to occur in conjunction with another bonus. (Sample size: 211 items. Data source: Google Sheets)
