Epic Gianthold[edit]

Many quest items have different stats, depending on the difficulty they are acquired from. Epic Normal drops the Minimum Level 23 version, Epic Hard drops the ML 24 version, and Epic Elite drops the ML 25 version.

There is only one version of each raid item, but higher difficulty settings offer items which have their "Attuned to Heroism" already upgraded.

The Flawless Dragon Armors and Relic Armors are turn-ins.

Flawless Dragon Armor[edit]

ML25. Cost: 20 flawless scales + 10 of each refined relics + 3 Commendations of Heroism

Flawless Black Blue White
Effects +7 Enhancement Bonus+7 Enhancement Bonus: +7 enhancement bonus to Armor Class.
Draconic FerocityDraconic Ferocity: While an Epic-level Helm of the Black Dragon is equipped at the same time as a Flawless Black Dragonscale Armor, you will gain a +3% artifact bonus to melee Doublestrike chance and a +2 artifact bonus to damage with ranged or thrown weapons.
Haste GuardHaste Guard: When you are hit by enemies, there is a chance you will be Hasted, quickening your attack and movement speed.
Armor-Piercing 15% Armor-Piercing 15%: Passive: +15% Enhancement bonus to Fortification Bypass. (Fortification Bypass makes your attacks ignore a percentage of enemy Fortification.)
Relentless FuryRelentless Fury: While this item is equipped, any killing blows you strike against enemies may drive you into a furious rage, providing a 5% Enhancement damage bonus to your melee, ranged and unarmed attacks for 30 seconds. Slaying weaker opponents has a reduced chance of producing this effect.
Acid Resistance +40Acid Resistance +40: Passive: +40 Enhancement bonus to your Acid Resistance.
Blue Augment SlotThis augment slot can be used to equip this item with the following types of augment:
  • Blue Augments: Standard augments provide bonuses to defensive stats, healing amplifications and Tactics DCs.

Electric Resistance +40Electric Resistance +40: Passive: +40 Enhancement bonus to your Electric Resistance.
Blue Augment SlotThis augment slot can be used to equip this item with the following types of augment:
  • Blue Augments: Standard augments provide bonuses to defensive stats, healing amplifications and Tactics DCs.

Draconic ResilienceDraconic Resilience: While an Epic-level Helm of the White Dragon is equipped at the same time as a Flawless White Dragonscale Armor, you will gain a +50 artifact bonus to your maximum Hit Points.
Fortification +100%Fortification +100%: This suit of armor or shield produces a magical force that protects vital areas of the wearer much more effectively. When a critical hit or sneak attack is scored on the wearer, there is a 100% chance that the critical hit or sneak attack is negated and damage is instead rolled normally.
Protection +7Protection +7: Passive: +7 Deflection bonus to Armor Class.
Shield +6Shield +6: While this item is equipped, you are partially protected by a field of magical force which can deflect enemy attacks. This item provides a +6 Shield bonus to Armor Class. It does not stack with an equipped shield.

New/changed item enchantments[edit]

  • Cursespewing: This item effect now only applies on a natural 20 attack roll, but no longer has a saving throw. In addition to its previous effects, this curse now causes the victim to take 1d6 damage every two seconds. The curse now has a duration of 12 seconds. Additional cursespewing procs will add 12 seconds to the remaining duration.
  • Improved Cursespewing: This item effect now only applies on a natural 20 attack roll, but no longer has a saving throw. In addition to its previous effects, this curse now causes the victim to deal 4 less damage with its melee and ranged attacks and take 2d6 damage every two seconds. The curse now has a duration of 12 seconds. Additional Improved Cursespewing procs will add 12 seconds to the remaining duration.
  • The "Vorpal" weapon prefix now also adds an additional 0.5 damage dice to the attacks of the weapon it is on. (This excludes Vorpal Strikes.)

Redesign of old heroic named items[edit]

Many old heroic named items were changed. Some aspects of the change are retroactive (e.g. weapon dice, critical profile, base AC). Others are not (binding, slots, minimum level).

New items bind to character on equip. Previously BtA chain end rewards remain bound to account.
