VIP Loyalty Program

The VIP loyalty program, launched Update 67.2.1 (May 1, 2024), awards active VIPs with special gifts and perks every month.

Rules

• Each month’s gift may be claimed after the 1st of each month, so if you subscribe during the middle of a month you’ll get the immediate gift, and then after the 1st of the next month you’ll be eligible for the first month’s gift. This list of gifts will change in future years.
• Speak to an NPC named Violet Peregrine located in the Hall of Heroes (located in the second half to the west). Speaking to the NPC will award the gift to your game account. You can acquire further versions of various cosmetics as well by speaking to this NPC.
• You have to pick up the rewards every month to progress to the next reward (for example, if you claim the first three rewards then miss a month, on your next visit to Violet Peregrine you'll be given the reward for month 4.)
• If you cancel your VIP subscription and resubscribe at a later date, you will resume where you left off.DDO Forums

Scaling Benefits

• Certain benefits from the Loyalty Program increase over time, gaining increased values at milestones further into the program. So far, three such benefits exist, all introduced during Year 1 and gaining an increase to a higher value 12 months later (note that all three buffs remain active only while a player remains a VIP):
  • The Item Durability Ward reduces a character's chance of taking item durability damage on their equipped items. The decrease starts at -10% at month 4 and improves to -20% at month 16 and -30% at month 28.
  • The VIP Artisan's Advantage increases Crafting XP gained from Cannith Crafting. The buff starts at +10% at month 7 and increases to +20% at month 19 and +30% at month 31. In addition, claiming this reward at month 7 adds a small chance for any collectable node to drop a Crafting Material Token - this part of the buff appears to remain active even if a player ceases to be a VIP.needs verification
  • The VIP Discovery Boosts adds a small percentage charge to the chance of pulling named loot from all chests. The buff begins at +1% at month 9 and increases to +2% at month 21 and +3% at month 33.
